Simply send us a WhatsApp with images of the items you are interested in selling. Your items can be collected same day in London, brought to our store or shipped to our warehouse.


After receiving your items, we authenticate, photograph, price and list them. We merchandise and sell them internationally online and through our Chelsea store.


Once your items sell, you get paid. We offer cash upfront for certain handbags. Payment is made via transfer or through store credit. Circular economy!

What's your commission?

We offer up to 80% commission on high value handbags and fine jewellery. Our regular rate of commission is circa 50% of the final sale price of the item. Should you wish us to set up a bespoke commission rate for you please email is at or call/Whatsapp us on 07801 535153.

What do you take?

We sell luxury brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Fendi, Gucci and Hermes.

Contemporary brands such as Ganni, Rixo, Sandro and Maje.

Handbags, fine jewellery, belts, watches, bags, wallets and scarves. Shoes especially trainers.

Coats, midi dresses, sweaters, knitwear, blouses, jackets and jeans.

Cashmere, leather and silk.

Current season trend driven items and investment staples such as trench coats, cashmere jumpers and leather jackets.

What don't you take?

Out of season items. Poor condition items. High street items. Vintage pieces with the exception of Chanel, Hermes and Louis Vuitton.

What if my items don't sell?

Generally we keep items for 6 months on a sale or return basis. The onus is on you to contact us to collect them at the end of the term. Items are elgible for up to 30% discount after 2 months and 50% discount after 4 months.

If it doesn't sell within this 6 month sale period, it may be reduced further or you can either choose to collect the item or pay to have it returned. Or we have many wonderful charities with whom we work to which we can donate it on your behalf.

How do I get items to you?

Live near our Chelsea store? Contact us to arrange a drop-off at 5 Elystan Street, London, SW3 3NT, UK. Or same day collections via courier.

What about fakes?

It is against the law to sell fake goods and we, therefore, take any attempt to re-sell fake goods through us very seriously. We inspect every item before it is listed, not after. We have a whole page dedicated to authentication which can be found here

Which charities do you work with?

We choose carefully who to partner with and work with a variety of charities depending on the current climate or requests of our sellers. We recently gave a large donation of stock to the wonderful Women's charity Smart Works. During lockdown 1 we gave a portion of sales from our charity collection to NHS Charities Together. We also work with a local charity to our Chelsea store called Trinity Hospice.

If you would like to donate all or some of your commission to a charity of your choice, we can arrange it for you.

Do you reduce?

We reduce items with the exception of certain bags and jewellery in the following way: by 30% after 2 months and to half of the original agreed price after 4 months. After 6 months if not picked up, items may be eligible for further discounting.

Where will you sell my items?

In an bid to sell your items, they will be available online and in-store. If you would not like your items to be lent out to press or featured on Instagram please let us know. During busy periods, items can take up to 2 weeks or longer to appear online and in-store. We drop products at the most optimal time based on seasonality or special category or brand drops to give them the best chance of selling.

*Consign £1,000 worth of items with Sign of the Times during January and earn £100 store credit to shop in-store or online. Can only consign a maximum of 10 items to be eligible for this promotion (i.e. cannot consign 11 or more items to total £1,000 of value). Items must be consigned and priced by 31/01/22. Value of items is based on the split price, without VAT included. Bonus £100 credit will be sent out via email on or before 07/02/23. Credit eligible to be used to shop online or in-store and is valid for 1 month. New and repeat sellers are eligible for this promotion.
