Our delivery costs can be found on our Delivery and returns page. All orders placed online will be processed and shipped within the time frame selected at checkout. We will require a physical home or business address for all shipments, items of exceptional value may require store collection. Prices on the Sign of the Times website only includes the cost of the item and the shipping. Any international duty or taxes may be added at the time of delivery. International customers will be responsible for payment of any applicable customs or duties at the time an order arrives at its destination. For high value purchases we may contact you to clear through some security questions and/or ask for some identification.


In an effort to protect our customers and avoid fraud, we will only ship your order to the billing address. If you require shipment to an alternate address, Sign of the Times reserves the right to require the following as proof of identification:

2 valid forms of photo identification that include the name, photograph and signature of the cardholder, for example a passport or driver’s license. At least one must include the same address as the one entered during the order process. 

A copy of the original credit card used to make the purchase.


We offer click and collect for all items bought online. Collect from our Chelsea store: Sign of the Times, 5 Elystan Street, Chelsea, SW3 3NT. Please bring along a form of identification containing the name and address you used to place the order.

We will send you a text message as soon as your order is ready to pick up, please allow time for us to move any items from our storage facility to our store.

Returns can be made up to 7 days after the pickup notification with tags still attached via the below process.


All items bought online can be returned within 7 days. Sale items will be issued with store credit, to be spent within 3 months of your return. All other items qualify for a full refund.

How to return

Step 1:  Fill out your returns form sent to you with your order

Step 2: Fill our our returns slip, pack and ship your items to: Sign of the Times, 5 Elystan Street, Chelsea, SW3 3NT

Step 3: SOTT will issue a full refund to your card, or store credit for sale purchases (valid for 3 months)

Online returns must be made within 7 days. In store purchases are final. Sale items are eligible for store credit only. Store credit can be spent online or in store within 3 months of your return. If you choose to spend the credit in store and not online it will be valid against full price items only. Please pack items securely, as SOTT cannot accept liability for loss or damage during transit. Items must be unworn and undamaged with the original tags intact including any dust bags or authenticity cards. Return postage is covered by the buyer. We recommend purchasing insurance for the return shipment. For orders outside of the UK, refusal to pay customs and excise fees upon delivery will result in additional return shipping charges. You are responsible for any additional charges incurred by SOTT.


Store credit issued from a sale return is eligible for 3 months after your return. Store credit can be redeemed against any item purchased online, and any full price item purchased in store.


As we only have one of every item, if an item is sold in store just before it is sold online we reserve the right to honour the in-store sale and will not fulfil the online order. We are sincerely sorry for any frustration this may cause and do our best to make sure errors do not occur.

Sign of the Times also reserves the right not to fulfil any order that they believe to be fraudulent or if a pricing error has occurred.
